CEO and Founder Bhavish Aggarwal also said that the company will start delivery of S1X (3kWh) model from April as well.
Note that the Ola S1X 2 kWh is priced at Rs 79,999 while the 3 kWh has ex-showroom price of Rs 89,999.
During a live event, Aggarwal also announced improved warranty on Ola scooters – now all Ola scooters will come with 8 years and 89,000 kms warranty. He said that with this Ola scooters will have 2X lifespan than petrol scooters.
On EV industry, Aggarwal said that since Ola’s first scooter on August 15, 2021, when it announced the Gen 1 S1 Pro, the industry has has moved significantly.
On service issues, the Ola CEO said that EVs need much less maintainance cost as they do not need as much as service as ICE vehicles.He also announced to 10,000 charging points by next quarter. Aggarwal said Ola will further improve its charging network further.
